Panic as Kaduna is hit by earth tremour

A report says Kwoi, the headquarters of Jaba local government area of Kaduna state, was Sunday, September 11, 2016, hit by a series of earth tremour which caused panic and confusion. Kwoi is located in the southern part of Kaduna region of the state.

Confirming the incident in a statement signed by Samuel Aruwan, the spokesperson to Governor Nasir el-Rufai, and obtained by NAIJ.com, the state government appealed for calm. The government said it has made a formal report to the appropriate authorities to investigate the development, report precisely on the event and issue appropriate guidance.
