APC has made known that it has changed its strategy towards Ezekwesili, BBOG

The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed that it has dumped its open support for the Bring Back Our Girls (BBOG) group even while the parents of the Chibok girls are still crying for rescue of their children. Premium Times quoted the APC as telling BBOG convener, Oby Ezekwesili that the party had to change its strategy towards the group when it came into power in  2015.

The party made its position known via series of tweets in response to Ezekwesili’s blistering verbal attack on President Buhari’s failure to rescue the girls on her own Twitter handle. Ezekwesili had condemned the renting of a crowd to stop BBOG protest and quoted a line from President Buhari’s inaugural speech on May 29, 2015 in which he said: “We cannot claim to have defeated Boko Haram without rescuing the Chibok girls and all other innocent persons.”
